O Jess Almighty, I must confess I panicked a little when I read that you’d be cleaning up some earlier pages. I understand that the style’s gotten cleaner as the comic’s progressed, but there are certain elements of the earlier pages that I miss in the newer ones. This page showcases two of those elements: darker backgrounds and more dramatic fish-eye panels. The dark and details of the earlier backgrounds really make the characters stand out, as opposed to the empty white backgrounds of newer pages. And the fish-eye of Isabelle on the table isn’t nearly as dramatic as the ones on this page. What’s done is done, and I’ve already pre-ordered my book… just sayin’… not all of your earlier work needs improvement. =)
